Similar to income tax returns and financial statements, like all accounting firms we offer GST and Business Activity Statement (BAS) preparation services to all our business clients.
However where we are different is that we find it difficult to see how this adds value to your business. Most software accounting packages (including MYOB & QuickBooks) have made the preparation of your BAS a fairly simple process. Therefore we’d rather help you set up and provide ongoing assistance with your software accounting system, which will then allow you to complete your own BAS in a fairly easy process. This reduces your accounting fees in this regard, and allows us to concentrate on improving other areas of your business.
Of course some businesses are not interested in maintaining their own accounting system or preparing their BAS, and despite the above comments we are more than happy to assist these clients in this area.
