Establishment and Administration

An SMSF is a trust where assets are held and managed on behalf of up to four members to provide retirement benefits. An SMSF combines the ability to be potentially more cost effective as super balances grow compared to other available super options as well as control and flexibility of investing your super across a broad spectrum of assets.

The fund’s assets are controlled by the trustee, who are generally the members of the SMSF, so members have full control of how they want to invest their super through their SMSF.  This may include assets such as shares, term deposits, managed funds and investment property.

We can provide you with advice and services to establish a new SMSF using the combined resources of Lambourne Partners and local specialists in the areas of ordering Companies, trust deeds and document preparation.

Advising the trustees of an SMSF is a specialised area and our Financial Advisers have extensive training and experience in advising those who have or would like to establish an SMSF.
